Star Daily, the longest running daily newspaper in Cagayan de Oro City and the Northern Mindanao region, is published by the Gold Star Publishing and Marketing Corporation at the Gusa Sports Complex, Gusa Highway, Cagayan de Oro City 9000, Philippines. The
media company has established the biggest newspaper network in all of Mindanao enabling the paper to circulate
in key towns, cities and provinces in Southern Philippines, including remote villages where big Manila-based broadsheets
and tabloids are virtually non-existent. The paper was founded in July 1989 and was registered with the Philippines' Securities and Exchange
Commission (no. CEO-3581) on Sept. 24, 1990.
